Ošišajme ("we", "us", or "our") operates a booking marketplace that connects customers with independent barbershops, hair salons, and individual barbers through our website and mobile apps. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices available to you. By using the Ošišajme platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Account information: when you sign up we collect details like your name, email address, and phone number through Firebase Authentication; phone number verification currently works by sending a one-time code to your email rather than by SMS. Booking data: the appointments you request or book, the services and salon or barber you select, and your booking history. Salon and barber business data: for salon owners and barbers, we collect business information such as salon name, address, staff details, services, pricing, and photos. Location data: your address and, where you allow it, your device's geolocation, used to help you discover nearby salons and barbers and to power map-based search through the Google Maps/Places APIs. Payment data: salon subscription payments are processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor, Ošišajme itself never receives or stores your full card number.
We use the information we collect to operate and maintain the marketplace, match customers with salons and barbers, process and manage bookings, send booking-related notifications and reminders, process salon owners' subscription billing through Stripe, respond to support requests, and improve and secure the service over time.
When you make a booking, the salon or barber you book with receives the information reasonably needed to serve you, such as your name, contact details, and appointment details. Stripe processes salon subscription payments and receives the information necessary to do so. Firebase and Google Cloud host our underlying infrastructure, authentication, database, and file storage, and process data on our behalf as service providers, and Google Maps/Places powers our location features. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Ošišajme, our users, or the public.
The Ošišajme forum is public. Everything you post there, the thread title, the text of your post and replies, your display name, your profile picture and your role badge (customer, barber, salon), is visible to anyone on the internet, including visitors with no account, and search engines such as Google may index it and show it in their results. Do not post anything on the forum that you would not want to be public, including your phone number, your address or details of your appointments. Deleting your thread or reply removes it from the site and from the sitemap, but a copy may remain in a search engine's cache until it refreshes; for permanent removal write to support@osisajme.rs. To keep spam out, posting passes through Google reCAPTCHA (Google's own privacy policy and terms apply to it), and we record the times of your recent posts against your account in order to limit how fast anyone can post.
When it is enabled, the site offers a chat assistant that answers general questions about Ošišajme. The messages you send it are passed to Anthropic to generate a reply. The assistant has no access to your account, your bookings or anything in our database, it sees only what you type into it. For that reason, do not enter passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive information into the chat. To prevent abuse we temporarily record how many messages have been sent from an IP address.
We use standard web session and local-storage technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as your display theme), and keep the site and app functioning correctly. We do not currently make broader claims about third-party analytics or advertising technologies beyond this, if that changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.
We retain your account and booking information for as long as your account is active or as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations (including salon billing records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some information may be retained in an anonymized or aggregated form after an account is deleted.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain kinds of processing. Many of these actions can be taken directly from your account settings; for anything else, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Ošišajme is not intended for children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including Firebase-backed authentication, encrypted connections, and access controls on our backend infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our infrastructure and service providers, including Firebase/Google Cloud and Stripe, may process and store information in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection laws. Where this happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for cross-border data processing.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and where a change is material we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, such as through the app or by email.
